The crew took the time to sit and interview Todd Murray and John Amaturo about their personal experience living positive and how it has inspired them to do the work they do. They then took comments from Lindsey Etheridge, Beth Schmidt and Dan Sky about how they have been affected by HIV and AIDS and their work at Hope's Voice International. The evening began with an Italian dinner with the students. The powerful event also included a speaker from the community. Hope's Voice would like to thank Rich, Lauren and Susan for the amazing work sponsoring this event.

Susan MacNeil, Executive Director of AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region had this to say about the event, "Bringing Todd to the Franklin Pierce College campus was a unique opportunity for students to engage with a peer activist. Todd's personal story, coupled with an effective prevention message, captivated an audience of over 100 students and adults. The two student interns who organized his visit agree that their efforts to bring Todd to campus has left an indelible mark about how they can personally make a difference in the lives of others. I'm so very pleased that Todd agreed to deliver his message to rural southwestern New Hampshire and am grateful to begin building a lasting relationship with Todd and Hope's Voice."

view the pictures from the event!

May 20, 2007

Nina Martinez traveled to the gateway to the west for a Hope's Voice program at St. Louis University. The festival included the Red Ball Gala, screening and awards ceremony, all of which were attended by Executive Director, Todd Murray. “Road to Hope is exactly the kind of film that made me start this festival. Its edutainment . . . education plus entertainment. Todd Murray has the guts and the commitment it takes to make this a disease of the past. My hat and my heart are off to him,” said Suzanne Engo, President of the New York AIDS Film Festival.

December 7, 2006

Hope’s Voice has received grant from the Shaker Family Foundation.
