Nina Martinez traveled to the gateway to the west for a Hope's Voice program at St. Louis University. The event was sponsored by the Keep a Child Alive chapter on the campus. The chapter raises money for life saving medications for children in Africa. Thank you to Quan and the rest of the Keep a Child Alive members for making the topic of HIV and AIDS a priority on the campus! "Her frankness was great," Lara Brandstetter, a freshman, said, "Her willingness to tell her story really causes me to look at the HIV and AIDS issue in a whole different way. She was willing to laugh at herself at times." Read the article in The University News on Nina's program and view the pictures from the event!
